One of Wales' leading commercial property figures recruited by Avison Young

Andrew Gibson has been appointed as the firm's director of capital markets in Wales

One of Wales’s leading commercial property figures, Andrew Gibson, has joined strategic real estate adviser Avison Young as director of capital markets in Wales.

He joins from Cushman & Wakefield, which recently closed its Cardiff office, where he headed the capital markets and development team.

Mr Gibson has been involved in some of the biggest property investment deals in recent years in Wales, including structuring the disposal of the GE Healthcare campus in Cardiff, through a sale and lease back, and the acquisition of the Red Dragon Centre on behalf of Cardiff Council.
