NRS secures major letting on West Midlands estate

Agricultural group has signed up for almost 40 acres of land at Meriden Quarry

Meriden Quarry in Warwickshire

An agricultural firm has signed a long-term deal for almost 40 acres of land in the West Midlands.

NRS, which supplies aggregates, waste management and haulage services throughout the region, has taken an ten-year lease at the Meriden Quarry site in Warwickshire.

The company is expanding its existing one-stop shop at Meriden to increase the quarried and recycled aggregates, inert tipping and ready mix concrete it provides, with the company already supplying more than one million tonnes of aggregates per year to its customers.

Meriden Quarry is situated on the A45 between Birmingham and Coventry and owned by property group Harworth.

This deal with NRS means the entire site is now let.

Commercial and operations director Kieran Montgomery said: "We're pleased to secure the long-term future of our business at Meriden Quarry, extending our long-term relationship with the company.

"This deal will allow us to offer a continued excellent service to our customers throughout the Midlands as a platform for further growth."
