North West consultancy expands into Birmingham

A building consultancy firm has expanded out of its North West heartland by opening a new office in Birmingham.

Steven A. Hunt & Associates will launch the new base in Newhall Street in the city's business district on July 1.

The Liverpool-based company was founded in 1988 and offers consultancy on issues such as pre-design, sustainability and modelling for mechanical and electrical services in new buildings.

The company said the new Birmingham office, in Cornwall Buildings, reinforced the firm's commitment to staying close to its clients, enhanced its regional coverage and would meet increased demand within the Midlands.

Managing director Neil Baines said: "This new office reflects our continued growth, commitment to excellence and our drive to be closer to our clients.

"It's a proud moment for our team and we're thrilled to begin this next chapter."

The Birmingham office will be led by Robert Wootton.
