Godwin, Avison Young, Richborough and Harris Lamb have all made appointments

Birmingham-based land promoter Richborough Estates has appointed a new Midlands regional director.

Chartered surveyor Nick Jones joins from Ashfield Land where he was director in the Birmingham office and brings more than 20 years of experience of securing and delivering major residential, mixed-use and commercial schemes to the post.

In his new role, he will oversee Richborough Estates' Midlands portfolio of more than 20 live sites which the company said would be generating thousands of new homes over the next five years.

He will also drive business growth in the region by sourcing new land opportunities.

Chief executive Paul Campbell said: "Stretching from Gloucestershire to Cheshire, the Midlands is our busiest and most successful region.

"We're really pleased to have Nick on board to lead the Midlands and bring even further growth.

"We will also benefit from his vast experience in the commercial market as we work on an increasing number of mixed-use projects."
