Law firm gunnercooke is moving to new homes in Manchester and Leeds as it continues to see “incredible momentum in the North”.
The Manchester-born professional services group is to move to a 16,100 sq ft space at Bruntwood SciTech’s Pall Mall development in its home city. Bruntwood SciTech’s £30m transformation of the building is set to complete next month.
Manchester is home to 158 gunnercooke fee earners and is also the home of its support team, gcTrust, which includes 90 employees across marketing, finance, IT, compliance, recruitment, and office and partner services. The firm also opened its “purpose-led bookshop”, House of Books & Friends, in Bruntwood’s Manchester Club next to Pall Mall

In Leeds, gunnercooke has opened an 18-person serviced office base at the tech and creative industry-focused West Village scheme. The firm now has 45 partners across Yorkshire, with ten new partners joining in the region in the last 18 months.
So far this year, gunnercooke has launched new offices in Chicago and Frankfurt and opened a second London office.
