Estate agency Jeffrey Ross has invested in a new larger HQ to support its growth plans.
Despite the economic fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cardiff-based firm, which recently acquired letting agency Seel and Co, has signed up to a near 10,000 sq ft office scheme at 11-13 Penhill Road in the Pontcanna area of the city.
Property advisory firm Savills acted for the owner of the building, Aeron Properties, on the deal.
The building, which has 21 car parking spaces, has been let on a 10-year lease at £10 per sq ft a year.
Family-run firm Jeffrey Ross has offices across the city.
Ross Hooper Nash, director of Jeffrey Ross, said: “In these unprecedented times, some think this was a risky decision to take, but we are very excited about the move; our market is changing pretty quickly so this is an hugely important phase in the development of our business.
"The building will allow us to grow and expand our service offering and align both the Jeffrey Ross and Seel and Co businesses. The businesses will remain, separate but we will introduce new product lines for both.”

The offices was previously occupied by professional advisory firm Grant Thornton. The firm's Cardiff is now located at the Callaghan Square office scheme in the city centre.
