is set to have another addition to its portfolio of hotels after plans were revealed to develop a 178-bedroom building there.
The will be constructed on vacant land in Concorde Road, next to the airport's administrative hub in Diamond House at the main vehicle entrance to the transport hub.
A nine-storey building is proposed for the land, which was previously used as a taxi car park, and the hotel is expected to create 35 full-time jobs and a further 15 part-time roles.

No future operator is identified in the newly submitted planning documents but whichever company takes over running of the hotel will be in competition with incumbents Etap, Ibis, Novotel and Travelodge.
Warwick-based Hitchman Stone Architects has designed the project on behalf of applicant Castlebridge Hotels.
It said in a report prepared for the planning application: "The high-profile site that sits at the entrance to Birmingham Airport calls for a suitably impressive building.
"This is ideally suited to a hotel development.
"The proposals respond to a demand for a high-quality hotel that would benefit the airport and would also attract customers from further away.
"This hotel will provide a new service point on the site and will be a positive addition to the airport's development."
