New chapter for Court Collaboration

Anthony McCourt steps away from business he created as it unveils new name and board director

A Birmingham property developer has appointed a new board director and undergone a rebrand as its founder steps away from the business.

Court Collaboration was created in 2010 by real estate solicitor Anthony McCourt and is involved in several high-profile schemes in the city including

The developer is now embarking on a new chapter as Sphere Group, led by chief executive Alex Neale and managing director Thomas Taylor.

Mr Neale said: "I want to thank my good friend and original founder of Court Collaboration.

"While not involved in the day-to-day running of the business, Anthony remains an inspiration to me and any ambitious developer with great pride in their city."

As part of the new set up, Rob Bould has joined Sphere Group as a non-executive director and board member.

He is the former chief executive of consultancy GVA, now known as Avison Young, and executive vice-president of Bilfinger Real Estate.
