A major new residential accommodation scheme in Birmingham city centre has reached two significant milestones.

The first phase of 'Enclave: Birmingham City', in the Southside district, has started to welcome tenants while the second phase has topped out.

Enclave is situated at the corner of Lower Essex Street and Sherlock Street and will eventually comprise 628 apartments for rent alongside 25,000 sq ft of commercial and amenity space across three separate buildings of eight, 12 and 27 storeys respectively.

It will also have a roof garden, lounges, private dining rooms, co-working space and leisure facilities including a gym, screening room, spa, sports simulation suite and room dedicated to Chinese tile game mahjong.

The development is being delivered by Outpost Management via its joint venture with BlackRock Real Estate, in partnership the Galliard Homes and Apsley House Capital JV.

Troy Tomasik is chief executive of Outpost Management which specialises in managing rented residential accommodation.
