Setl is the latest development of new apartments in the city centre

A residential scheme in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter has completed. Setl has been built on the site of the former Cornwall House office block in Ludgate Hill.

Led by developer HBD, the 12-storey block comprises 102 apartments for open market sale, a wellness studio, co-working space, lounge and a roof terrace.

The Setl project team comprised interior design studio Youth, Jewellery Quarter-based architecture practice BPN and contractor GMI.

HBD director Simon Raiye said: "It's fantastic to see Setl now complete. We sought to create something special and we have certainly done that.

"While it's now commonplace to see a strong amenity offer within build-to-rent schemes, it is still very unusual to see these types of spaces within a building where homes are owned.

"We have continued to see strong interest in Setl, with sales progressing well since the show apartments opened in spring and we look forward to welcoming the first residents in the coming weeks."

It is the Sheffield-based company's first residential scheme in Birmingham.
