A new care home development is being built in the Black Country. Country Court Care Group is leading the project in Halesowen which will see a new 63-bed residential home built in Somers Road.

The scheme is being supported by a new £8.3 million funding deal from Cynergy Bank.

Peterborough-based Country Court Care Group has been a family-run business for more than 40 years and already has a home in Yardley.

It provides facilities for autonomous mobile residents, those with more significant medical needs such as dementia and people who require short-term respite care. Its new home in Halesowen will be its 37th.

Company director Al-Karim Kachra said: "We are excited to bring this new 63-bed residence."

Cynergy Bank was established in 2018 by entrepreneurs to serve the needs of business owners, property entrepreneurs and family businesses.
