Plans for a new landmark skyscraper in Manchester city centre have been revealed.
The proposed 44-storey building, featuring 364 apartments, is set to be located next to Deansgate Train Station at Whitworth Street West, as reported by .
Subject to approval from Manchester City Council, this would be the latest addition to the growing number of skyscrapers in the city centre.

Daniel Roberts, Development Director at Glenbrook, expressed his excitement about the project: "As a Manchester-based developer, we are excited about the prospect of embarking on a landmark development in the heart of our city."
He further added, "The site at Whitworth Street West represents a highly sustainable location with close proximity to the cultural and leisure attractions that Manchester offers."

The plans follow approval from city council leaders in August for the tallest skyscraper outside London.
This structure, at 71 storeys and a grand height of 213 metres, is set to eclipse Manchester's current record-holder the Deansgate Square South Tower which stands at 201 metres.
Nevertheless, the new addition to Great Jackson Street will stand almost 100 metres shorter than The Shard in the capital, which holds the title as the 海角视频's tallest building.
Meanwhile, The Landmark Pinnacle in London's Tower Hamlets remains the nation's tallest residential skyscraper at 233 metres.
