Lighthaus Tower, on Princes Dock, has 278 apartments, a fitness centre, and co-working spaces

The Lighthaus buidling, at Liverpool Waters

The construction of the 31-storey Lighthaus Tower, on the banks of the River Mersey has been successfully completed. The tower, built at Princes Dock, includes 278 flats, a fitness centre, co-working spaces, round-the-clock concierge service, and a residents' lounge.

This completion is a landmark in the wider Liverpool Waters regeneration project, the long-running scheme aimed at revitalising the city's northern docklands.

The tower block is a joint venture from Toronto-based Starlight Investments, X1, Vermont and Peel Waters, with Vermont leading the construction.

The residential development, standing at 31 storeys, offers a variety of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom flats, including a sky lounge that provides panoramic views across Liverpool and the River Mersey. The tower block has been designed for buy-to-rent purposes.

Lighthaus is the latest residential development to be finished within the Princes Dock neighbourhood at Liverpool Waters. The area now boasts over 1,000 completed homes, thousands of workers on site, Liverpool Cruise Port, the Isle of Man Ferry terminal and the Wyld Sauna – the º£½ÇÊÓƵ's first public floating sauna experience.

Princes Dock has also gained international recognition as the announced location for the first floating Padel tennis courts in Great Britain, which are scheduled to open in spring 2026, reports .

Upon completion, Chris Capes, Liverpool Waters development director at Peel Waters, said: "This achievement reflects our long-standing partnership between Peel Waters with X1 Developments and Vermont Construction, whose expertise has been instrumental in delivering exceptional results.

"Beyond creating a stunning new residential tower, this development has generated a fantastic pipeline of opportunities for local people throughout the build; from full-time employment to apprenticeships and placements for students at the onsite City of Liverpool Construction Academy.
