National water firm relocates to new Derby base

MWH Treatment takes space at city’s newly-refurbished Cardinal Square building

A national water and waste water solutions provider has relocated its regional base to newly refurbished offices in Derby.

MWH Treatment, which provides design and construction services to water and waste water markets, has moved its Midlands regional office from Raynesway to Cardinal Square.

The firm has acquired a 2,700 sq ft office within the Nottingham Road complex, which is owned by Nurton Developments. 

MWH Treatment works with companies such as Severn Trent Water, Southern Water, Scottish Water, United Utilities, Thames Water and Anglian Water and employs more than 800 employees across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ.

It offers a range of end-to-end services for all water and waste water solutions, from £100 million major projects through to minor capital maintenance.

Paul Hodgson, programme manager at MWH Treatment, said: “We were very impressed with the quality of the office accommodation and facilities available at Cardinal Square, along with its excellent location close to the city centre and Derby’s principal road links.

“Our team have enjoyed joining the rest of the business community working at Cardinal Square.”

David Dyas, asset manager for Cardinal Square, said: “MWH Treatment required office space for 25 desks within a lead time of just four weeks.
