More than 150 new homes are set to be created in Yorkshire by housebuilder Avant Homes in two separate developments. In Bingley, West Yorkshire, the company has started construction on its £23.2m residential scheme which will result in 93 new homes.
Called Five Rise Quarter and based off Keighley Road, the development will incude a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom homes. It will feature 12 of Avant Homes’ energy efficient house types. In total, 18 will be affordable and prices for the new homes will be released at a later date.
The first homes are set to be released for sale next month and a show home is scheduled to open in April of next year, with the first residents moving in next August.
Avant Homes West Yorkshire’s managing director, Richard Hosie, said: “Five Rise Quarter is a great example of our continued commitment to delivering quality new homes for everyone in locations where people want to live. The development will provide practically designed, energy efficient new homes suited to a wide range of buyers in Bingley, from first-time buyers to second-steppers and those looking to downsize.

Meanwhile in Harrogate, Avant Homes North Yorkshire has secured a new homes development site after exchanging contracts on 5.61-acres of land at Knox Lane. Subject to planning, the company will build 60 of its energy-efficient two, three and four bedroom homes which will have a gross development value of £16m.
The proposed development will comprise 10 of Avant Homes’ house types, including semi-detached and detached homes. The housebuilder is expected to submit plans for its proposed development in November.
