MCR snaps up Solihull office buildings

Property group has acquired Blenheim Court and is eyeing new resi space on the site

Blenheim Court, Solihull

A brace of office buildings in Solihull have been acquired for £13 million.

Blenheim Court has been bought by Manchester-based MCR Property Group.

Blenheim Court comprises two office buildings, Radcliffe House and Chadwick House, and has a total of 145,836 sq ft of grade A workspace.

MCR Property said it was now actively assessing potential future regen work on Blenheim Court in Warwick Road, with a view to a possible mixed-use scheme in the future.

Plans include the development of over 200 apartments, the company said.

Fund director Martin Brown said: "Blenheim Court is a standout acquisition for us, not only because of its strong location but also because of the speed and efficiency with which we secured the deal.

"We are proud to take on this grade A office complex and look forward to working closely with businesses to provide high-quality, flexible workspace in a fantastic part of the country.
