M1 Agency has brought in commercial property agents Matthew Smith and James Keeton to head up the team at a new Nottingham office covering the East Midlands and the North.

The pair have left JLL to launch the regional branch of the business which already has offices in London and Birmingham and which offers specialist advice across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ and Europe.

The agency currently has a pipeline of 4,000,000 sq ft of space available in the East Midlands and the North.

The office, based in Nottingham city centre, will operate across a range of sectors, with key instructions within industrial and logistics.

Properties on offer include HBD’s 39-acre Nottingham, New Horizon scheme and Verdant Regeneration’s 200-acre New Stanton site at junction 25 of M1.

M1 is also advising on office schemes including CEG’s 180,000 sq ft East West offices (formerly CityGate) and Charles Street Building’s newly built No1 Great Central Square development opposite the Highcross shopping centre in Leicester.

Further schemes will be announced in due course, and the Nottingham office will also support student and strategic development while offering development funding and investment expertise.

The team expect to be busy with a surge in demand for warehouse and logistics space on the back of recent national growth in e-commerce.
