Black Country pub operator Marston's has put dozens of its venues on the market.

The Wolverhampton-based firm said the 61 sites across England and Wales were "non-core properties" and included a mix of leased, tenanted, retail and managed pubs.

The portfolio contains several venues in the West Midlands including Fountain Inn and Garibaldi Inn, both in Stourbridge, Oak Inn in Coventry and a quartet of pubs in Dudley, Bush Inn, Crooked House, King William and Spills Meadow.

Listed Marston's said the pubs were available to purchase individually, in small groups or as a group package.

Head of estates Judith Rafique said: "Following a routine review of our estate we have taken the decision to offer to market a varied range of property types. This enables us to focus on our strategic objectives and maximise returns from our core estate."

Business property adviser Christie & Co. has been instructed to market the portfolio on behalf of Marston's.

Noel Moffitt, senior director of corporate pubs and restaurants, added: "This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals and multiple operators to acquire established successful public houses across England and Wales.
