Construction contractor MAC Group has won a £4.25 million brief to build new industrial units in the Black Country.

The company will build 11 units speculatively on behalf of Solihull-based Warmflame Developments at the WD Boxhub project in Cakemore Road, Rowley Regis.

There will be a total of 56,388 sq ft of industrial space, 77 parking spaces and external landscaping which is all due for completion next spring.

MAC Group director Ray O'Sullivan said: "With the challenges we've all experienced these past few months, it is great to get started on this development which will bring much-needed investment into the Black Country as well as jobs.

"This is our first appointment with Warmflame Developments and we're looking forward to building a relationship with the team."

David Burns, construction director at Warmflame Developments, added: "We're delighted to have brought MAC Group on board to deliver the speculative development which will provide a high-quality industrial scheme in the Black Country."
