A luxury hotel is to finally open its doors in Manchester city centre after a three-year delay.

Forty-Seven is located within the grade II-listed Lancashire House in Peter Street.

Owner Kro Hospitality had originally aimed to open the hotel in 2020 but the Covid-19 pandemic pushed its plans back to 2022.

However, despite announcing that Forty-Seven would open in the summer last year, the hotel has remained closed ever since.

But now Kro Hospitality has announced that the hotel will finally open its doors on Friday, August 18.

The boutique hotel includes 32 bedrooms - including 13 suites within a range of one and two-bedroom duplexes and signature suites.

General manager Ryan Thompson said : "It will be a delight to welcome guests into the hotel, where each stay promises a personalised guest experience in a setting like no other.
