A Birmingham-based distribution company has invested in new larger logistics premises to support its domestic and international growth.

Lumesca Group, which is based in Woodgate Valley near the M5, specialises in distribution, logistics and marketing services for the digital imaging and graphics market.

It has now purchased two additional units covering 12,500 sq ft at WD.Boxhub in Rowley Regis which has created five jobs.

During the past 18 months, it has also acquired two º£½ÇÊÓƵ photographic businesses to increase its product and service offering.

Managing director Geoffrey Clements said: "We've enjoyed significant growth over the past few years which meant it became necessary for us to find somewhere bigger to meet demand.

"Our new site will ensure we can continue to cater for all our customers' needs while providing scope for further future growth."

Lumesca, which was previously known as TypeMaker, was founded in Birmingham in 1986 to provide services to the then-emerging computer-based design and publishing market.
