Financial advisory firm Sedulo has revealed images inside its new Liverpool office containing a football-themed suite, military bunker-style boardroom, biscuit-themed space and heated massage chairs for all staff.

The firm has just opened its new premises at Exchange Flags, and its lease will cost more than £1m, while the company has spent a further £400,000 transforming its 7,000 sq ft space into an "incredible" area.

Sedulo founder Paul Cheetham-Karcz said his firm was "really proud" to open the Liverpool office, to go alongside its bases in Manchester, Leeds and London.

He said: “Bringing in the locality, paying respects to the building we are in and tipping the hat to the history of the area is really important. And we hope that by building spaces like this, our clients and staff will look forward to coming in and a happy environment here will create the best experience for everyone involved.

“Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester are the Ƶ’s most dynamic cities outside of London and I wanted us to be the first financial advisory firm that had a real hold in each city, so I’m very excited about this.”

Here's what's featured in the new office:

Upon entering the offices, clients and guests will be greeted by a 3,000 sq ft backlight bar dressed in black and green, with a working space providing secluded tables and a speaker system.

The new office also features a ‘Klopp/Kendall Suite’ - a tribute to Liverpool and Everton - and complete with signed shirts from Sir Kenny Dalglish and Kevin Ratcliffe plus an indoor garden, table football machine and seats in blue and red set against Anfield and Goodison Park.

The main boardroom has been designed like a military bunker, complete with sandbags and 1940s Wrens uniforms - to pay respects to Walker House - where the office is located - as it once housed a bomb-proof bunker in the basement as part of a military command headquarters.

A McVitie’s/Crawfords suite has been installed - with Crawfords having been a major Liverpool confectioner producing biscuits from the late 1800s until being merged with McVitie’s in the 1970s. Sedulo will be serving afternoon tea each day in its Liverpool office with a stock of Crawfords biscuits.

A podcast studio, modelled on Oprah Winfrey’s set, has been put in place to remember the slave trading that took place at Exchange Flags.

Elsewhere, an outdoor Victorian terrace garden overlooking the Royal Liver Building and River Mersey has been installed.

Finally, a large red and white working area, complete with spotlights, a brand wall and heated massage chairs at every workstation is in place.

A spokesperson for Urbanise, the company who completed building works at the offices, said: “Having worked with Sedulo in Manchester and Leeds, it was great to be asked to come and be part of the Liverpool project.

“Paul always has a vision of the office he wants and it is up to us to interpret that and bring it to life.
