A planning application has been submitted for Goole’s rapidly expanding industrial zone.

Trebor Developments is looking to add almost 100,000 sq ft of space with Point 36, Goole.

A land deal was completed by the Birmingham firm for the six-acre site in December. Located on Tom Pudding Way, opposite Siemens Mobility’s £200 million new train manufacturing facilities, it is to be delivered on a speculative basis, and subject to planning, should be available for occupation later this year.

Greg Dalton, development manager for Trebor, commented: “We are delighted to have submitted planning for our next Yorkshire development and look forward to delivering more much needed new build industrial and logistics space for the region. We are encouraged by the early interest.”

Point 36, at 94,841 sq ft, is being jointly marketed by Gent Visick and Holder & Co on behalf of Trebor.

December's unconditional deal with a private land owner promised a “high quality, sustainable, industrial building suitable for B2 or B8 uses”.

It comes after trade kitchen giant Howdens revealed logistics plans for the strategic enterprise zone that sits immediately off the M62 as it reported record results, with Beal Homes also in for planning for the 800-home The Greenways second phase in the town.
