Interpath Advisory, a spin-off business formed last year following the sale of KPMG's º£½ÇÊÓƵ restructuring arm, has opened an office in Bristol.

The firm, which will be based at 25 King Street near Queen Square, joins other tenants at the Grade A building, including Telestream, Premier Pensions Management and a client of property company Carter Jonas.

Interpath was founded in May 2021 following the sale of KPMG’s º£½ÇÊÓƵ restructuring practice to H.I.G. Capital and Interpath’s managing directors.

The firm, which is headquartered in London, has already opened eight offices across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ in Reading, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Glasgow, and plans to open its final two offices in London and Manchester over the coming months, it said.

The company has a restructuring and turnaround team of 15 people in Bristol.

Lee Swinerd, who leads Interpath’s team in the city, said 25 King Street was a "superb central location" for the business.

"While we’re all adapting to new ways of flexible working in the wake of the pandemic, it’s great that we now have a space that we can call our own, where we can host clients and contacts and reconnect in person," he said.

"Our team has a long and proud heritage of working shoulder to shoulder with organisations across Bristol, the South West and South Wales helping them to navigate periods of challenge and areas of opportunity. Being in such a central location in the heart of the local business community will give us the flexibility to collaborate across our growing team, as we continue to launch our new business lines and services.”
