Why investing in new office, despite WFH half the week, is right fit for print, design and web agency Summit Creative

Team joke that on the days in the office they don’t get any ‘real’ work done – but that is 'when the magic happens'

The Summit Creative team

A new print, design and web agency has invested in a new Nottinghamshire home while still providing the flexibility for staff to work from home.

Summit Creative, which only launched in February, has moved from Huthwaite, near Mansfield to Kirkby-in –Ashfield, a few miles down the road.

The team previously shared an open plan office and the move has given them a dedicated space. The business has 11 staff and has two dedicated days a week when everyone is in the office working together

Brands it works with include CEF (City Electrical Factors) and Buildbase East Midlands, West Midlands Safari Park and Westfield Health.

The business was formed out of CCM Group, which was primarily a print management company, before splitting in two. The second spin-off, We Are Fulfilment, helps clients grow their sales, and management at Summit Creative forecast a turnover of £2 million by the end of the year.

Right now it is looking for a warehouse operations manager with more jobs plants as it wins new clients.

Owner Chelsea Peek said that despite the office being a part-time base, it was worth the expense to help maintain the wellbeing of the team.

She said: “We have always provided flexibility to the team and allowed them to work from home as much as they’ve needed, yet the overwhelming response I received is that they want and need the stimulation of the team environment and would hate to lose it.
