This is how it looks inside one of Liverpool's best known Grade II-listed offices after a huge makeover.

Bruntwood Works has completed a major internal refurbishment of Exchange Court in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district.

The Grade II-listed building, adjacent to Liverpool Town Hall, has undergone thorough renovation of its common areas, including entrance halls, corridors and toilet facilities.

Colin Forshaw, regional director at Bruntwood Works, said: “Exchange Court is a beautiful, historic building in an excellent location and is one of the jewels of our Liverpool portfolio.

“The building is home to an established community of businesses and our aim was to give them a fresh, progressive environment that would also amplify the building’s rich heritage to make it an even more attractive place to work.

"We hope our customers are as delighted with the outcome as we are.”

The building's signature ‘cantilevered’ staircase with timber balustrade, which wraps through the building, has also received a "vibrant but sympathetic" new colour scheme, complementing Exchange Court’s classical heritage.

MgMaStudio designed the scheme and supported Bruntwood Works in securing listed building consent for the works.
