East Midlands commercial property consultancy Innes England has been recognised as the most active agent in three key sectors of the 2019 East Midlands commercial property market.

The firm, which has offices in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester, topped the office, industrial and investment categories in the latest Estates Gazette deals competition.

Matthew Hannah, managing director at Innes England, said: “We’re thrilled to be recognised again for completing the most deals in three sectors in our region.

“It is testament to the hard work being put in by the team year-round to deliver on our clients’ objectives, either on the disposal or acquisition of property.”

Organised by trade publication Estates Gazette, The EG deals competition has listed the agents completing the largest volume of deals each year since 2001.

Throughout the East Midlands, Innes England completed more than a deal a day across the industrial, office, retail, leisure and investment sectors for its clients, ranging from a 122 sq ft retail unit to a development site of more than 40 acres.

Highlights for 2019 included the largest out-of-town office letting in Nottingham last year to GoDaddy.

The website domain giant relocated their Nottingham operation from Castle Boulevard in the city centre to 26,775 sq ft of newly-refurbished accommodation at Waterfront House, part of Chancerygate’s Beeston Business Park.
