Leisure company The Inn Collection Group has moved its head office to larger premises to accommodate ongoing growth across its operations.

The rapidly rising pub and hotel owner has moved its 60-strong head office and central reservations team from Alnwick, Northumberland, into new premises at Newcastle’s Quorum Park, as it continues its expansion.

The company, which now employs more than 800 staff, has expanded into the Q5 building at the Benton business park to give it room for its growing workforce.

Established in 2006, the firm – which owns 31 inns across Tyneside, Northumberland, County Durham, Teesside, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Wearside and North Wales – has been executing a rapid “buy and develop” growth strategy, seeking to expand outside its heartland North East.

In February the firm was sold by previous owners Alchemy Partners to a new firm owned by the Harris family in conjunction with Kings Park Capital, a month after OakNorth, the º£½ÇÊÓƵ bank for entrepreneurs, injected £42m into the business to fund the refurbishment of a number of sites as well as fuel further expansion.

In addition to new build sites, The Inn Collection Group specialises in the acquisition and enhancement of under-invested sites.

Managing director Sean Donkin said the move will pave the way for the pubco’s continued growth as it expands its portfolio of sites.
