Industrial park fully let after lease deal

Shush º£½ÇÊÓƵ takes space for a warehouse unit on Water Orton estate

Shush º£½ÇÊÓƵ has moved to a unit at Lakeside Industrial Park, in Water Orton

A West Midlands industrial park is now fully let following the relocation of a supplier of acoustic and noise reduction equipment.

Shush º£½ÇÊÓƵ, whose customers include fast food chain KFC, hotelier Premier Inn and bar brands Brewers Fayre and JD Wetherspoons, has agreed a lease on a 13,018 sq ft manufacturing unit at Lakeside Industrial Park in Water Orton, east of Birmingham.

The accommodation includes a workshop, two-storey office space and a mezzanine.

WEST MIDLANDS BUSINESS NEWS REVIEW OF 2023

Shush º£½ÇÊÓƵ's kitchen ventilation division has more than 30 years of experience serving the catering industry, building a relationship with major clients such as Greene King, Whitbread and The Restaurant Group.

Its manufacturing arm can produce bespoke stainless-steel fabrications including wall benches, cupboards, silencers and other acoustic products. The company was previously based in Garretts Green.

Founder and managing director Dave Robinson said: "We were keen to relocate because we had two adjoining units which wasn't ideal and the rent was rising. It is much better now that we are all under one roof."

Commercial property consultancy Johnson Fellows acted for the landlord Flexdart.

Agency partner Richard Bache said: "This is the start of an exciting new era for Shush º£½ÇÊÓƵ as it moves to its new premises at Lakeside Industrial Park.
