A parent organisation for a group of Hull businesses is set to move into new premises in the city centre.

The 55 Group includes national framework provider Pagabo, risk, management and compliance software company Sypro, social value specialists Social Profit Calculator, and digital-first training platform Tequ.

The businesses will soon be moving to a new home at 55 Whitefriargate, with the building inspiring the name for the overarching group.

Company bosses said the relocation would also mark a new chapter in the evolution of the businesses involved.

Gerard Toplass, group chief executive officer at The 55 Group, said: “It’s an exciting time for everyone involved in the restructure as we begin building better together and harnessing the power of a collective strategy. Our mission at The 55 Group is to use technology and innovative thinking to establish a better, faster and greener approach to the built environment and beyond.”

It’s hoped that the new structure will provide a platform for growth and an opportunity for each of the individual business to work together.

The new office, a former HSBC building, will soon see its refurbishment completed to provide hi-tech workspaces, meeting rooms and podcast booths.
