Nanhill, Woodhouse Eves

Three newly improved homes are the finalists in the Small Residential Scheme of the Year in the 2023 ProCon Leicestershire property and construction awards.

Extensions and an annexe are in the running in this category, which is sponsored by Lovell Partnerships and is one of eight in this year’s 20th ProCon Awards.

The ProCon Awards’ overall sponsors are Salus Approved Inspectors, Unique Window Systems and Freeths. The Leicester Mercury is the Awards’ media partner.

The Small Residential Scheme of the Year finalists are:

A new contemporary glazed extension was added to a 1907 home in Woodhouse Eaves (pictured above).

Internal alterations doubled the size of the existing kitchen and defined living and dining areas were created around a feature tunnel fireplace.

The adjoining and contrasting structures were built more than a century apart and realised the owner’s vision to create a clear line of sight from the front entrance through the property to the rear.
