A property management firm in Gloucestershire has added a development of luxury holiday homes within the Cotswold Water Park to its portfolio.

Barnsdales has been appointed as the managing agent of Waters Edge, 27 three and four-bedroom properties set around a 28-acre lake in England’s largest wetlands nature reserve.

The resort near Cerney Wick, will be managed locally from the company’s Cirencester office by recently-appointed residential block manager, Louise Ballinger.

Amenities at the cottages include a decking area which creates the illusion of being suspended over the water’s edge.

Barnsdales said there are currently a further 15 plots up for sale at the site, which could allow for the total number of lodges to increase to 42.

Ms Ballinger said: “This is a fantastic moment for Barnsdales and I’m delighted that we’ve been chosen as the property managers of this distinguished development. We’ll be responsible for the communal areas of Waters Edge, bringing our friendly and professional service to this luxury waterside resort.

“We don’t foresee any challenges in terms of maintenance or management, so our initial focus will be on ensuring that we build trust among residents and visitors. I’m confident that with our ethos and expertise, we can add value to this remarkable retreat.”

Jason Barnsdale, managing director of Barnsdales, added: “This is another impressive instruction for Barnsdales and a great example of how we’re expanding our presence in the region.
