Historic Lake District hotel sold for around £1.2m

The Inn Collection Group now has 31 sites across the North of England and North Wales

The Ravensworth Hotel, Lake District

A prominent Lake District hotel that dates back to the 1850s has been sold off a guide asking price of almost £1.2m.

The Ravensworth was originally built as a family residence and was subsequently converted into a 12-bedroom hotel.

Inn Collection Group has snapped up the hotel off a guide asking price of £1,195,000.

The Ravensworth is located close to Lake Windermere and the town of Bowness-on-Windermere.

The building has planning permission to be converted into accommodation for staff.

The Inn Collection Group now has 31 sites across the North of England and North Wales.
