Global IT giant Flexera buys large office at Birchwood Park

Cheshire will be the firm's growing hub for the EMEA region

The office space at Birchwood Park Flexera will operate

A global IT giant has acquired a huge office space at Birchwood Park, the North West's largest out-of-town business destination.

IT management solutions firm Flexera is the latest occupier to move to the Warrington site, with the US-headquartered tech specialist acquiring a 16,209sq ft office.

The deal was secured in partnership with agents BE Group, JLL and Cushman & Wakefield acting on behalf Flexara.

Consisting of two main divisions - Flexera and Revenera - the company supports businesses in maximising their value, while answering demands placed on both IT infrastructures, and leaders.

With an ever-expanding team, Flexera said it identified Cheshire as a growing hub for the EMEA region.

The firm said that when looking for a larger office space, it realised Birchwood Park was ideally located and offered flexible opportunities for its increasing footprint, as well as access for employees with a skilled local talent pool.

Kathy Tomlinson, site leader at Flexera, said: “Birchwood Park provided so many solutions to issues that are extremely important to our business and staff. It’s the perfect location for access to new graduates from a range of nearby universities including Manchester, Chester and Liverpool, as well as attracting professionals with experience in the tech industry from a broad range of North West cities.

“The wellbeing of our team is also really important to us – we have taken a hybrid working approach to encourage a balance between using office space for collaboration and key events, while allowing home working to free up time for personal commitment.
