Premier League football club Aston Villa have revealed new imagery of their plans to revamp their stadium.
It comes following a public consultation into the proposals for Villa Park held earlier in the summer and ahead of the submission of a planning application to Birmingham City Council.
The club says it wants to create a year-round destination with new commercial, retail, entertainment and community space called 'Villa Live'.
Other plans in phase one include a new North Stand wrapping into the Trinity Stand and enhancements to the existing Trinity Stand which will increase capacity by around 7,400 seats to over 50,000 (see gallery below).

There will also be redevelopment of the Witton Lane entrance and the public space around the North Stand, upgraded food and beverage offering, enhanced hospitality packages and additional parking. The first phase of work is due to take place from 2023 to 2025, subject to consent.
