Work on the first homes in what will become Bristol’s tallest block of flats are expected to be completed by the end of April.
The 26-storey Castle Park View building overlooks the city centre’s largest urban green space.
It will provide 375 homes, including 300 private rented one- and two-bedroom apartments and 75 affordable homes.

A dramatic new time-lapse video, released by construction company Bouygues 海角视频, has captured the tower block rising up into the Bristol skyline over a period spanning October 2019 to March this year.
The Castle Park View project stands on the site of the city’s former ambulance station, close to the ruins of its medieval castle.
The housing scheme will consist of five blocks including the tower. All remaining blocks are now weatherproof with brickwork and rendering now due to start.
The tower’s external envelope is also now complete and six-metre castellations will be installed over the next month.
Bristol City Council District Heating Network - a new network of underground pipes delivering affordable, low-carbon heat and energy across the city - is now supplying heat to the project.

The first homes are expected to be completed by the end of April 2021 and the whole project is on track to be delivered by 2022. A move-in date for the homes has yet to be set.
The 322,000 square-foot scheme has been designed by architect firm Chapman Taylor. The land is jointly owned by Homes England, Bristol City Council and developers Linkcity.
M&G Investments and housing association Abri (formerly Yarlington Housing Group) are also involved in the project.
