Occupiers are being sought for a new "high-spec" warehouse development on an historic site in Manchester.
Canmoor has appointed Colliers International, Lambert Smith Hampton and DTRE to market its recently-acquired Lowry Park site in Newton Heath to potential tenants.
The developer said it is preparing the site to commence construction of new "high-spec" accommodation in March.
The 14.08 acre site will be developed on a built-to-suit basis with the developer submitting a planning application for multi-let units totalling 300,000 sq ft, or alternatively it could accommodate one single unit of up to 315,800 sq ft.
The site, which was which finally closed in 2017, sits amongst major local occupiers such as Travis Perkins, Royal Mail and Fujitsu.
John Sullivan, director of Colliers International’s Manchester Industrial and Logistics team, who sold the site to Canmoor and has subsequently been retained to market the design and build development opportunity, said: “Canmoor’s acquisition and plans for Lowry Park mark an exciting new chapter for this important industrial site, which has been one of Manchester’s greatest employment sites for over 150 years.

The firm said it hopes the park will boost the North West development pipeline in response to the national warehouse shortage.
Mr Sullivan added: "Subject to the necessary planning consents, construction is expected to commence in the spring.
"With demand for high quality industrial space continuing and take up reaching all-time highs this year, this new Grade A accommodation will provide a welcome boost to the North West’s development pipeline."
