Supply 2 Location Group's new regional hub in Wednesbury

A support company to the film and television sector is to open a new regional hub in the Black Country. Supply 2 Location Group has agreed a deal for two warehouse units in Franchise Street, Wednesbury.

The company supplies location services such as equipment hire and logistics support to high-end film and TV production.

Chief executive James Williams said: "We are delighted to have finalised negotiations on our new Midlands depot from where we are looking forward to supporting our clients in the expanding film and broadcast production sector.

"The site will also operate as the centre depot for the new S2L Group engineering division.

"This strategic location also completed our plan to provide a national network of regional distribution hubs across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ which allows us to provide a highly efficient integrated service capability for the film production community infrastructure."

Property agency Burley Browne was appointed as retained letting agency for the warehouse following a sale campaign of the same property last summer.

Senior associate director Ben Nicholson said: "To have been able to secure a well-established national operator for the premises is a very pleasing result.
