Family creating new flats in Market Harborough nightclub where they used to go dancing

Plan is to turn former Enigma nightclub building into 13 flats with roof terrace, cinema room and workspace studio

The old Enigma nightclub in Market Harborough

A family who used to enjoy nights out at a former town centre nightclub has bought it and is turning it into boutique apartments.

The family behind specialist property company Stylish Living has bought the former Enigma nightclub, in Market Harborough, south Leicestershire.

It was sold through property consultancy Fisher German.

Leicestershire-based Stylish Living is managed by Emma Estill and her partner Dan – with a number of other family members also employed there –and invests in, develops, designs and manages its own property portfolio.

The team is planning to transform the former nightclub building into 13 flats, including a couple of two-bedroom duplex apartments with bi-fold doors leading to a roof terrace.

They also want to put in a one-bedroom duplex apartment overlooking the high street, as well as 10 self-contained studio apartments, with a shared cinema room and workspace studio.

Ms Estill, Stylish Living’s managing director, said the apartments will be available to let inclusive of bills on a fully furnished basis.

She said the company focussed on “high-end premium living” which she said would bring something new to the town.
