Expanding Swansea marketing firm Ouma moves to city centre Urban Village scheme

It comes after a period of strong growth for the company

Ouma directors Rachel Lyndon-Jones and Ross Jones.

Marketing firm Ouma has moved into Swansea’s Urban Village scheme to support its growth plans.

Founded in 2017 by directors Ross Jones and Rachel Lyndon-Jones, Ouma has seen a 800% rise in revenues over the last year with monthly revenues rising from £6,000 to £50,000, while its head count has risen from three to eight.

Its clients include the Oldwalls Collection and Fairyhill, Athlete Career Transition and Samaritans Cymru.

Initially based in Llansamlet, the team has spent the last year working flexibly, with a mix of home working and time at the directors’ home address which was partly converted to provide working offices.

To support further expansion it has now taken nearly 1,200 sq ft in the mixed-use Urban Village on High Street in the centre of Swansea. The Urban Village, owned by housing association Coastal, is made up of three buildings, which provide just over 70,400 sq ft of space, of which 69,814 sq ft is let.

Tenants include Alleyway Coffee, Basekamp, CDSM Interactive Solutions, Marine Power Systems, Tangled Parrot and Wolfestone Translation.

Ouma has signed up to nearly 1,200 sq ft of space.

Ouma co-director Ms Lyndon-Jones said: “We’re thrilled to have moved into our new office on High Street.
