Euroclad Group has made a long-term commitment to its presence in Cardiff after acquired the freehold interest in the three industrial buildings it occupies at Wentloog Corporate Park.
The business manufactures a range of construction products including roof and wall cladding systems. Euroclad had previously occupied the buildings under lease agreements.
The strategic purchase secures the long-term future of its manufacturing and distribution operations at the site. The three buildings extend to 170,249 sq ft on a 18 acre site.
Euroclad were advised on the deal by property advisory firm Savills. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
Jack Davies, director at Savills, industrial and logistics for Wales and the south west of England said: “This investment marks a significant milestone for Euroclad, reinforcing its commitment to sustained growth and operational stability at its Cardiff facility.
"The industrial sector in South Wales continues to experience strong demand for high-quality space, underpinned by solid market fundamentals and a shortage of new or refurbished supply. With modern leasehold options limited, occupiers are increasingly opting to purchase and refurbish their own facilities to meet the need for more efficient and contemporary space.”
