Engineering and design consultancy CPW moves to new Bristol office after 10 years

The company has plans to recruit following the move, it said

International engineering and design consultancy CPW has moved into a new office in Bristol where it plans to grow its team, the firm has said.

The business, formerly known as Couch Perry Wilkes, has taken 1,000 sq ft of space at the Vintry building on Wine Street - a relocation from its previous office where it was based for 10 years.

The move follows a business-wide rebrand and will support the firm’s long-term strategic growth plans across the South West, according to the company.

Dave Poynor, director at CPW, said: “After outgrowing our previous office, the Vintry was an attractive option due to its inner-city location, excellent transport links, and range of amenities.

"It has also undergone a recent refurbishment, to offer a contemporary, industrial appearance – which is sure to support employee wellbeing, collaboration and innovation.”

CPW said it was looking to appoint extra building services design staff following the move, adding to its current team of nine engineers.

The firm has been involved in a number of South West projects including the design of 425 low-carbon homes in the £75m Parklands Village scheme near Weston-super-Mare and healthcare commissions for various trusts in and around the region.

Mr Poynor added: “We are experiencing particular growth in the healthcare, residential, industrial and logistics sectors in the region so it’s an exciting time to be based in the South West."
