Double deal see Black Country industrial estate fully let

Mercia Real Estate signs two lease deals following refurbishment programme

Saltbrook Trading Estate, Halesowen

A Black Country industrial estate is fully let after a brace of lease deals were signed.

The last two remaining units on Saltbrook Trading Estate, in Halesowen, have been let to Oakes Leisure and existing tenant Ferre º£½ÇÊÓƵ which has taken an additional unit.

Oakes sells toys, sweets and other products to the leisure industry and fairground operators while Ferre º£½ÇÊÓƵ manufactures and sells ovens, hobs and kitchen appliances.

The lettings come after the park's owner, Birmingham-based Mercia Real Estate, carried out an extensive refurbishment programme across the 60,353 sq ft of accommodation in Saltbrook Road.

Asset and estate manager Marta Langman said: "The refurbishment and improvements were undertaken as part of our active management programme.

"We are thrilled to have let these last two remaining units and welcome Oakes Leisure and Ferre º£½ÇÊÓƵ to Saltbrook Estate."

Harvey Pearson, director at Hexagon which is the letting agency for the site, added: "We are delighted to have got the estate to full occupancy.
