A food distribution firm has expanded its º£½ÇÊÓƵ operations at a refurbished unit near Manchester in a deal developer Indurent says shows the strength of the “big box” market.
Dealicious Mealz has signed a new 10-year lease with Indurent for 108,258 sq ft of refurbished space at Heywood Distribution Park as it grows its supply chain operations with major supermarket brands.
It’s the third “big box” deal in weeks for Birmingham-based Indurent, which owns and operates industrial and logistics space across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ. Regency Glass recently upsized to a 420,000 sq ft unit at Indurent 420, Omega West, while DPD signed up to a 120,000 sq ft unit at Indurent Park, Tamworth.

Indurent says those deals align with figures in DTRE’s Big Box Logistics Report for Q3 2025, which showed take-up rose 28% quarter on quarter, and said the agreements “reflect a clear resurgence in occupier demand for well-located, high-quality big box assets in the second half of the year.”
Simon Ross, head of portfolio management at Indurent, said: “The º£½ÇÊÓƵ big box market is regaining momentum after a softer start to the year, and we’re seeing this strong appetite first-hand, securing three major leases in recent weeks.
"The agreements, with DPD, Regency Glass, and now Dealicious Mealz, span a diverse range of sectors and reflect the growing need for high-quality space as businesses scale to meet rising demand. It’s a clear signal of renewed confidence in the sector, and a testament to the strength of Indurent’s portfolio.”
Dan Austin, head of logistics north at Indurent, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Dealicious Mealz to Heywood Distribution Park. The business was seeking a modern and strategically located facility to support its continued expansion, and Unit M2 offered the ideal solution.”
