A developer has completed the final phase of a new industrial and logistics park - the majority of which has already been let.

St Modwen received planning permission for the last phase of its Albion Gateway development, in Burton, last summer.

Now, it has finished work on the 82,700 sq ft phase and has already lined up tenants to occupy more than 50,000 sq ft.

The developer will welcome a total of five new tenants to the site, just a few months after agreeing a deal to pre-let a 13,000 sq ft unit to MKM Building Supplies.

Among the other companies to take space are º£½ÇÊÓƵ Storage Company (SW), global machinery provider Beck & Pollitzer Engineering and plumbers’ merchants James Hargreaves Plumbing Depot.

The previous phase of Albion Gateway was completed in 2016 and is home to an array of trade and manufacturing businesses, including Tool Station, Eurocell and A-Plant.

Gemma Butler, asset manager at St Modwen, said: “To already be at completion with 60% of the site pre-let is testament to this project’s continued success.

“Through this scheme, St Modwen is delivering economic expansion and significant employment opportunities for people local to Burton.
