Law and insurance firm DAS º£½ÇÊÓƵ is moving to a new office in Bristol.

The company is relocating 550 staff from DAS House and North Quay on Temple Back in the city centre to 2 Trinity Quay next spring.

The new office building is owned by NatWest and DAS has taken 37,828 sq ft of space.

It will be the first time that DAS º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s law firm - DAS Law - will be co-located with the legal expenses insurance side of the business, the company said.

The new workspace was designed with input from DAS º£½ÇÊÓƵ employees, according to the business, and includes a café, library, multi-faith room, showers and learning zone, which will also be used for exercise classes.

Andrew Burke, chief executive of DAS º£½ÇÊÓƵ Group said: “The move marks the start of a new era for us, with the bright, modern, inclusive space offering more opportunities for flexibility and efficiency, while remaining in a central location close to rail, road and cycle networks.

“We’ve been working hard throughout the pandemic and our new offices – which are Covid-secure – mark an exciting development for us as we look to our next stage of growth.â€

NatWest Group was advised by real estate firms CBRE and Avison Young, while DAS º£½ÇÊÓƵ was advised by commercial property company Cushman & Wakefield.

Richard Kidd, CBRE’s Head of Office agency across the South West and South Wales, added: “A modern, Grade A office building, 2 Temple Quay has recently been refurbished and enjoys a unique waterfront setting.

“It offers DAS º£½ÇÊÓƵ all the benefits of its existing offices, but with greater flexibility and a high-spec environment that will support the company as it looks to the future.â€
