A public consultation has been launched into a major new mixed-use regeneration project in Birmingham.
The project in Digbeth could see up to 550 new apartments built on land bounded by Belmont Passage and Montague Street.
Government body Homes England is leading the scheme whose designs also include commercial property and other open space.
The application site is currently occupied by a Volkswagen dealership.

Homes England said it was seeking to meet Birmingham City Council's policy for affordable housing at the project, known as 'Belmont Passage'.
Mark Laidlow, head of development at Homes England, said: "We want to put the views of the local community at the heart of our proposals to ensure they are influenced by those who live and work here in Birmingham.
"Homes England aims to create a vibrant mixed-use community with desirable new homes as a catalyst for wider regeneration in the Digbeth neighbourhood.

"We are seeking the views of the public on our initial proposals for Belmont Passage so we can deliver a landmark development that the Digbeth community will be proud of."
