Construction firm snaps up Exeter structural engineering practice

Bailey Partnership takes its staff level to more than 100 with latest acquisition

One of the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ’s leading construction consultancies has acquired a long-established civil and structural engineering practice.

Bailey Partnership – which has offices in Plymouth, Exeter, Swindon and Sevenoaks – has taken the 16-strong, Exeter-based BSW Consulting, from Parkwood Group.

Bailey Partnership is a º£½ÇÊÓÆµ top 100 consultancy and currently employs more than 90 people. The transaction adds the full range of civil and structural engineering services to its offering and further strengthens and enhances its position as a sector leader and broadens and adds further diversity to its client base across the public and private sectors.

Bailey Partnership has worked on the number of significant projects in Plymouth including the new headquarters for The Range, the regeneration of Colin Campbell Court and Bath Street to create the Millbay Boulevard, and installation of a new sprinkler system and replacement cladding in the three high-rise tower blocks in Devonport.

Bailey Partnership is confident that its combination with BSW will open up new markets and opportunities for them both whilst further ensuring effective and coordinated project delivery from inception through to completion.
