A consortium of developers have started work on a 拢4.7 million primary school in Castle Donington, north Leicestershire.

The work is being done by housebuilders Miller Homes and Redrow and commercial property specialist Clowes Developments 海角视频.

The newly-named Foxbridge Primary School will be less than half a mile from Miller Homes鈥 Charters Gate development, and will serve 210 students across reception, KS1 and KS2, when it opens next summer.

Commenting on the creation of the school, Alastair Parsons, areas sales director for Miller Homes Midlands, said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted to be adding to the already thriving community where our Charters Gate development resides, by providing the neighbourhood with a brand new primary school for new and existing residents.

鈥淭his marks the latest in a range of investments we鈥檝e made in the area.

鈥淟ast year we worked to launch a multimillion pound Relief Road to ease traffic flow and we have earmarked a total of 拢1.5 million worth of contributions to the community throughout the lifetime of the development.

Homes at Charters Gate include a mixture of three and four-bedroom homes, with an additional selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes set to be built.
