Coffee shop chain to expand in Birmingham

200 Degrees will open its third venue in the city and fourth in the region next month

A Midlands coffee shop chain is growing by opening a new venue in Birmingham.

Nottingham-based 200 Degrees has confirmed it will open in city suburb Harborne on September 20.

The café, in High Street, will be the brand's third location in Birmingham, fourth in the West Midlands and 24th overall across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

The venue will cover 1,163 sq ft, with 67 indoor seats and 16 outdoor and serve sandwiches and cakes alongside hot and cold drinks.

The opening will also create up to 15 new jobs, including manager and barista roles.

200 Degrees cluster manager Marta Mieleszko said: "After seeing queues out the door for our recent Cotswolds opening, we're really excited to continue our expansion in Birmingham by bringing 200 Degrees to Harborne next month.

"We're looking forward to welcoming the community, getting to recognise the same faces, learning their names and their order, and serving them our speciality drinks, with the first being on the house to celebrate the launch."
